On April 7, 2024, ASI Saidul Islam of Hogalberia PS, KPD, led a raid at Muktadaha Battala based on a tip-off. They apprehended Prokash Bhoumick (51), resident of village Muktadaha, for the illegal possession and sale of “Bengal Tiger Premium” country spirit. 19 bottles, each containing 600 ML, were seized from his possession. The arrest followed a complaint lodged by ASI Saidul Islam.
