Complainant SI Taposh Kumar Ghosh of Mira Bazar ROP, Kaliganj PS, filed a complaint against Johir Sk @ Raju Sk for storing and refilling domestic gas cylinders for commercial use. On April 7th, a raid conducted at ‘Johir Electronics’ revealed 3 fully loaded and 5 empty Indian domestic gas cylinders, along with 2 empty Bharat Gas cylinders. The accused managed to flee upon police arrival. Items seized include an electronic weight machine and a refilling pipe with nozzle. Suspected fraudulent means of procurement and violation of the Essential Commodities Act are under investigation.
