Ujjwal Pal of Gacha Baganpara, Nakashipara, reported an incident where his son, Tanmoy Pal, was involved in a collision on April 16, 2024, around 3:15 PM. Tanmoy was driving his own machine-fitted van from Dahakula to Jugpur when a bus bearing registration number WB51-7797 collided with the van from behind at Jugpur Rail Bridge. The collision occurred due to rash and negligent driving by the bus driver. Consequently, the van sustained damage. The matter is under investigation by the authorities.
