ASI Tapan Kumar Sardar of Nabadwip PS filed a complaint against Uttam Debnath and Samir Mondal, aged 44 and 37 respectively, both residents of Nabadwip and Srirampur areas. On April 19, 2024, at 7:30 PM, during routine NAKA checking duty at Jora Bridge, the complainant and his team intercepted the duo traveling on bicycles from Hemayetpur towards Nabadwip, carrying a nylon bag. Upon interrogation, they confessed to transporting Country Spirit illegally for sale in their locality. Consequently, the complainant arrested them and seized 12 bottles of “Bengal Tiger Premium” Country Spirit, each containing 600 ML, under proper seizure procedures.
