On April 29, 2024, ASI Rajat Saha of Krishnaganj Police Station filed a complaint leading to the arrest of Ashim Mondal (52 yrs.), resident of Putikhali, Haritala More. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided Putikhali Bazar Bus Stand where Mondal was apprehended. The raid resulted in the confiscation of 11 bottles of “Bengal Tiger Premium” country spirit, each containing 600 ML, from Mondal’s possession. Mondal was allegedly involved in the illegal sale of the spirit. Arrest count stands at 01.
