ASI Bijan Kr. Biswas of Hogalberia PS has filed a complaint against Rathin Kr. Mandal (36) of Kachharipara, PS- Hogalberia. On 21.03.2024, acting on a tip-off, Biswas led a raid at Kachharipara water tank area, resulting in the arrest of Mandal. The raid yielded 21 bottles of “Bengal Tiger Premium” country spirit, each containing 600 ML, seized under proper documentation. Mandal stands accused of illegal possession and distribution of the contraband.
