Kotwali Police Station’s SI Narayan Ch. Das, along with his team, successfully apprehended four individuals suspected of planning a dacoity in the area. The arrested individuals were identified as Sukhen Mondal @ Kala (25yrs), Sourav Ghosh @ Nepa (26yrs), Debabrata Talukder @ Subo (25yrs), and Bappa Pramanick @ Bombai (38yrs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Acting on a tip-off received at 00:25hrs on March 26, 2024, the police conducted a raid at Krishnagar Rajbari Math, within the Kotwali PS jurisdiction. The accused were found assembled at the spot along with their associates, allegedly gearing up for a criminal activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the raid, the police confiscated various weapons including iron rods, a Hansua, bamboo sticks, and a Bhojali from the possession of the arrested individuals. However, seven to eight other suspects managed to flee the scene under the cover of darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
